…then do THIS!

SAVFD

Tickets are only $12 for adults and $7 for kids 12 years old and younger.  You aren’t going to find a better deal anyway…and nothing will make dad happier than this casual BBQ.  Tell him to throw on some shorts and flip-flops because you are taking him out for some of Petaluma’s best cuisine, at a location with ambiance galore.  One of the things I love about this BBQ is how casual it is.  You show up whenever you want (there is rarely a line for anything), you pay, you get your lunch, you find a nice spot at one of the many picnic tables, and then you get your grub on…and maybe visit some other friendly folks who are there doing the same thing.  Unlike a lot of the indoor feeds we go to where it is loud, crowded, and rushed, this one is all about a calm and relaxing lunch.  Best of all, we usually grab a second lunch on the way out either to have as dinner or for lunch the next day because …well …because it easy and delicious.  Come on – nobody Q’s like a fireman.

There live music, a bean bag tournament, and a really great silent auction table and raffle.  I’m not normally a fan of silent auctions because the items often don’t impress me but San Antonio Fire must know the right people because we always find tons of items to bid on.

Tickets are available online this year at but you can also buy them directly at the event…although with eventbrite charging no extra fees I think we will buy ours ahead of time so we make sure we can get a few extra meals to go.
